Music Film 'The Clip'
For my first post I have chosen to write about Design 111 the 'clip', which was the last assignment for the 111 paper. I chose to explore industrial design in the film (designed alongside Matt Eales). The idea we had was to create a juxtaposition of still images of each of the major music players over the last 30 odd years. We decided to go with a minimalist 'pen and paper' styled film which showcased the concept through a series of quick sketches of the various music players, finishing up with the endline, that it 'all starts here' at Vic. This project was definitely a favourite due to the freedom we had and the chance of experimenting with new media. You can view the film by clicking here.

I was impressed by the way in which you took simple sketches and used these to create the message of promoting Vic. The most basic of medium can prove to be the most effective! Did you find that this project improved your knowledge of industrial design at all?
